Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect
We deliberately collect as little as we can get away with. In practice that is:
- Contact details — the email address you order with, and your WhatsApp or Telegram handle if you message us there.
- Order information — which plan you bought, when, and a payment reference. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are handled by the payment processor.
- Account and technical data — your subscription credentials, connection logs and the IP address your line connects from. This is used to run the service, enforce simultaneous-stream limits and diagnose faults.
- Support correspondence — the messages you send us, so we have context next time.
- Basic site analytics — aggregate page views and referrers. This website does not load third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
Why we collect it
- To activate and run your subscription.
- To provide support and fix problems on your line.
- To process payments and handle refunds.
- To detect credential sharing and abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Legal basis
We process personal information on the basis of performing the contract you entered into with us, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, and your consent where you have given it. We operate in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to run the service:
- Payment processors, to take payment and issue refunds.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers, which store data on our behalf.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
- Account data: for as long as your subscription is active, plus 12 months.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, normally seven years.
- Connection logs: a rolling short retention period for fault diagnosis and abuse detection, then deleted.
- Support messages: up to 24 months.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking. We store a small preference in your own browser (for example your currency display choice). That preference never leaves your device and is not readable by us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with modern TLS. Access to customer records is restricted to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and we will notify affected customers promptly if a breach materially affects them.
Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.
- Provide a copy of your data in a portable format.
Email support@iptvtoday.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
The service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority. Accounts must be held by an adult. Parental controls are available on every subscription — see the family section.
