Refund policy

A clear, time-bound refund policy in plain English. If the service does not work for you and we cannot fix it, you get your money back.

Last updated: September 15, 2026

The short version

You have 7 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. We ask that you let our support team try to fix the problem first, because the overwhelming majority of issues are a setting on the device and take a few minutes to sort out. If we cannot get the service working properly for you within that window, we refund you in full.

Before you buy anything, we would much rather you took a free trial and tested the service on your own TV and your own internet connection. It is the surest way to avoid needing this page at all.

The 7-day window

The refund window opens the moment your subscription is activated and runs for seven calendar days. A request made on day seven is accepted; a request made on day eight is outside the policy. We use the activation timestamp on your account, and we will tell you what that is if you ask.

What qualifies for a refund

  • The service does not work on your connection and our support team cannot resolve it after reasonable troubleshooting.
  • Persistent freezing or buffering that continues after we have tried alternative server nodes and the standard fixes.
  • Channels you asked about before purchase are not available. If you checked with us first and we got it wrong, that is on us.
  • Your subscription was never activated or you were charged twice.
  • Quality is materially below what was described — for example, channels advertised as 4K consistently delivering far less.

What does not qualify

We would rather be upfront about this than surprise you later:

  • You changed your mind after using the service for most of the week.
  • Your internet connection is the problem and you decline to try the fixes we suggest, such as using a wired connection or lowering the quality setting. Our speed guide explains what is required.
  • You never contacted support. We cannot fix a problem we were never told about, and a refund request is not the first we should be hearing of it.
  • Requests made after the 7-day window.
  • Account sharing or misuse that breaches our terms and conditions, including running one subscription across more simultaneous devices than your plan allows.
  • Reseller credit purchases, which are covered by separate terms agreed at the time of purchase.

How to request a refund

  1. Contact support first

Message us on live support and describe the problem. Most issues are solved here and you keep a working service.

  2. If it cannot be fixed, ask for the refund in writing

Email support@iptvtoday.ca with the email address used to order, your approximate order date, and a short description of what went wrong.

  3. We review it

Usually the same working day. We may ask one or two follow-up questions to confirm what was tried.

  4. We process the refund

Back to the original payment method wherever possible.

How long it takes

  • Interac e-Transfer: usually 1–3 business days.
  • Credit or debit card: 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • PayPal: usually 1–3 business days.

Once we send it, the remaining delay is with your bank and outside our control. We will confirm by email when the refund has been issued.

Please take the free trial first

We offer a free trial precisely so that neither of us ends up here. Test your channels, at the time of day you normally watch, on the TV you will actually use. If it works then, it will work later.
